Our vacation, I mean HOLIDAY!

Welcome to our new blog!

I am excited about this because it was made just for me and now I can post bigger images! Woo hoo!
I am also going to vow to be a better blogger and post more often (OK so we will just wait and see if that holds true, but at least you know my good intentions!)

This year is already starting to fly by… Jordyn and I began it with a trip Down Under! In Australia they call vacations “holidays” and whatever you call it, we had an amazing time! We flew to Sydney then worked our way north to the Gold Coast stopping off in a few different beach towns. We found a wave that was just right for us called Snapper Rocks and there we stayed as long as we could! We had so much fun just riding bikes and hitting all the playgrounds (and there are lots of those!) and playing in the beautiful warm water!

I didn’t take much camera gear because this trip was about just having fun… just spending time with my little girl who it seems was so small just the other day, and in Sydney we celebrated her 11th birthday. We did fun things like run and chase seagulls in Darling Harbour, we rode camels on the beach in Port Maquaire, we drove with friends for hours on the beach and in the sand dunes at Southwest Rocks, and we surfed until it felt like our arms were going to fall off at Rainbow Bay!

I wanted to remember not only our trip, but the bond that she and I have, so we hired a Professional Photographer, and that was probably one of the best things we did. Now we forever have the memories of the trip as well as the visuals of just what we looked like then and it was so fun to have some of Sydney’s icons in the background.

So now thanks to Kelly Vella of kellyvellaphotography.com.au/ , we can share some of our time there with you.

I hope you will enjoy the new blog.
We always love to hear your feedback and as always welcome any comments!
